Together Each Achieves More - These runs are ideal for newbies, people training for the Run for the Hills 10K , and folks preparing for out-of-town hilly fall races (including marathons). The runs are free, informal, and open to all. We have a VERY wide range of talent, from pretty leisurely to ridiculously fast. ALL are welcome. We've had as many as 17 show up, but we'd like to see the group grow to 25, 50, or more so that everyone has someone to run (or walk) with. Last weekend we provided watermelon afterwards! Each Sunday a group gets together for an informal training run at Warhill District Park ( http://connect.garmin.com/cours e/4080158 ). Meet in the parking lot by the trail near Wanner Stadium ( 4725 Stadium Rd Williamsburg, VA 23188 ), which is very near The WISC (5700 Warhill Trail), and even nearer to the Run For the Hills 10K start. NOTE: If you come in via Longhill road, that road does NOT come all the way through to where we meet. Enter via Centerville Road, or you'll have to run 1/2 mile (maybe less) to join up with everyone else. We run the 3.5 mile loop that's part of the Run For the Hills 10K and the Warhill 5K. Some run short (one loop), some run longer, and some run VERY long (20 miles). [note: If you plan to run very long, let us know in advance, as some people start early]. Some run fast, some run slowly, and on occasion someone just takes a nice walk. It's an ideal place to train for hilly out-of-town Fall races, or the October 12, 2013 Run for the Hills 10K . All (ALL) paces and all (ALL!) ability levels welcome. Join us! Two USATF-certified running coaches are typically present; as are other experienced runners who can help you achieve your goals. And we LOVE newbies! TEAM on Facebook. For more information, contact Dr. Daniel Shaye ( email@example.com ) .
