Every Monday at 6:00 p.m. - WilliamsburgThe DOG Street Pub Running Club 5K fun runs continue at 6 p.m., DOG Street Pub, Merchants Square, 401 W. Duke of Gloucester Street. Registration (no fee) starts at 5 p.m., 5K fun run (no official times) starts at 6 p.m. and goes through Colonial Williamsburg and the William and Mary campus. Late starts OK until 7 p.m. but must know course. Post-race social with drink specials every week from Williamsburg 's Alewerks Brewing Company. Weekly event. Casual, family and dog friendly. Tuesdays – at 3:30 p.m. (note start time for winter/spring months) - Williamsburg - Warhill Trail Distance Run/Tempo Run Workout, 3:30 p.m., meet at parking lot in front of WISC (Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex), nearest the soccer fields of the Warhill Sports Complex (off Longhill Road , just past Lafayette High School ). Course is totally soft-surface of hard-packed gravel and dirt Warhill Nature Trail, a wooded, shaded, scenic route. Distance options of 4 to 10 miles, including warm-up. Every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. (starting February 23) - Williamsburg –  Colonial Road Runners interval workouts at Walsingham Academy .  Weekly through the end of October at the 5:30 p.m. starting time. Every Saturday at 6:00 a.m. - Williamsburg – “ Enterprisers” distance run, 6:00 a.m., Merchants Square of Colonial Williamsburg. Meet in parking lot between the Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop and the Trellis Restaurant. Distance runs of as much as 16 miles, including optional 3 mile add-on, starting at 5:30 a.m. Workout routes are announced each week on Thursday or Friday. Occasional Sundays at 9:00 a.m. - Williamsburg – Sunday Morning Distance Runs at Warhill Trail, 9:00 a.m., same starting location as Tuesday runs (WISC parking lot). Email Louise and Bill Sharer at las4452@hotmail.com ) for information on a specific Sunday.

The Running T.E.A.M. (Together Each Achieves More) – Weekly a group of distance runners meets for long runs.  The runs are free, informal, and open to all. Depending on the weekend, we have a range of speeds from pretty leisurely to pretty fast.  ALL are welcome.  The hope and goal is that everyone will have someone to run with. Most commonly we run on Sunday mornings at Newport News Park, lead/coordinated by Michael Leech and/or Daniel Shaye. The bike path itself is relatively flat and root-free soft-surface, about 12’ wide, and 5.35 miles around the main loop.  Longer loops include a 10.5 mile option, and longer.  All welcome. Too fast and too slow are impossible! On rare occasion we gather at Warhill District Park, at the trailhead by Wanner Stadium, which is about ½ mile from The WISC.  The route itself is a hilly (for SE VA) 3.5 mile loop, perfect for building strength and stamina.  Run 1 loop, 2, 5… your choice. All (ALL) paces and all (ALL!) ability levels welcome. Your worst-case scenario is that you end up running alone in a beautiful park, or you start with some wonderful people who are too fast or too slow for your mood, and then enjoy the fact that we’re all enjoying running our own paces.  A USATF-certified running coach is often present;  as are other experienced runners who can help you achieve your goals.  And we LOVE newbies! Join us! Fort Eustis Hash House Harriers Run (3-5 miles cross country and roads, non-competitive, varied courses, followed by social), usually 6 p.m. during summer (Tuesdays) or 3 p.m. (Saturdays). $4 for food and beverage.
